Wh - questions

He said to me, “Where do you have your medical exam?”
She said to him, “why is the eye exam difficult?”

Reported Speech

He asked me where I had my medical exam.
She asked him why the eye exam was difficult.

Very important:

When you report the Wh – questions do not use the auxiliaries (do, does, did, have, has, will, etc) any more. If the verb to be is included, bring first the “noun” to move the “verb to be” after it.

Quoted speech

He said, “come to the medical center.”
The doctor said, “take the medical exam.”
She said, “pass the eye exam”.

Reported speech

He reminded someone to come to the medical center.
The doctor ordered someone to take the medical exam.
She told someone to pass the eye exam.
