GRAMMAR |
When you want to use two single form verbs in a sentence, you separate with “to”.
They are called infinite verbs.
Examples:
a. I want to celebrate my birthday.
b. She hopes to attend to my birthday.
c. He intends to buy a laptop for my birthday.
d. I expect to receive many presents on my birthday.

Using adjective + to
Sometimes we use infinitive after adjectives.
Examples:
a. It’s great to see my friends on my
birthday.
b. It’s social to talk to many friends
on my birthday.
c. It’s sad to start my party without
my parents.
d. It’s amazing to travel around the
world on my birthday month.
