The Golden toad

A golden toad was a small toad that (1) been once abundant in a small area (2) Monteverde, Costa Rica. This toad was first described (3) 1966 by Jay Savage. The last sighting (4) this toad was (5) 15 May 1989, and it was classified as extinct by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
Males were orange while females showed a greater variety of colors, including black, yellow, red, green (6) white. Females were typically larger (7) males.
