Vocabulary

1. Creamy vegetable soup (n): /ˈkrimi/ /ˈvɛʤtəbəl/ /sup/ Sopa de vegetales cremosa
A creamy food that is made by cooking vegetables.
Example: Ryan almost always has creamy vegetable soup at dinner.

2. Cuisine (n): /kwɪˈzin/ Cocina
A particular style of cooking food, especially the style of a particular country or region.
Example: Jackson loves the Peruvian cuisine every time he visits Peru.

3. Eat out (v): /it/ /aʊt/ Salir a cenar
To have a meal in a restaurant instead of at home.
Example: Sophia and James eat out on weekends because they don’t want to cook.

4. In advance (n): /ɪn/ /ədˈvæns/ Por adelantado
Progress or an instance of progress in science, technology, human knowledge, etc.
Example: Daniel uses grammar in advance when he has to write to his American boss.

5. Intimate (v): /ˈɪntəmət/ Intimidar
To tell people something in an indirect way.
Example: The supervisor intimates the employees to get good results.

6. Make fuss (v): /meɪk/ /fʌs/ Armar un escándalo
To make a complaint on someone or something.
Example: Christian never makes fuss of something. He is a quite person.
